Wow Julie, my health problems are so similar to yours. I do not have Crohn's but I do have the same menstrual issues, low hemoglobin and I just received a blood transfusion several weeks ago for iron deficiency. My doctor wants me to get the iron infusions. I have been researching a raw diet and I am currently in Penni Shleton's Raw Food Rehab for 100 days. It is so inspiring to hear that maybe my health issues can be reversed by a raw food diet. I am 50% raw now and trying to raise that to 75%.. Thank you so much for posting your story.

Thank you so much for the book suggestions. Several of the titles have caught my eye and I will be picking them up, as I am always looking for a good read on healthy living. I would love to also recommend The Secrets to Great Health by John Matsen (one of the best book I've ever read on the subject). As far as periodicals, I love my Eating Well Magazine.

Hello Julie,
As farmers market manager at Full Circle Farm in Carnation, WA (certified organic) I will have available to me some beautiful baby zucchini, about 3", with blossoms on. I would love to display your baby zuke recipe, attributed (of course), with our vegetables at our markets over the next week or so. May I have your permission to do so?
Thanks for your consideration,
Jay Moritz
